PEST NAME :  CENTIPEDES and MILLIPEDES MYRIAPODA (Chilopoda and Diplopoda spp)

SIZE, SHAPE AND COLOUR :  Up to 15cm long. Mahogany brown to pale straw.  Many segments in body with a pair of legs attached to each segment. Compound eyes, antennae, sensory organs at rear.

BIOLOGY :  

PREFERRED FOODS :   Carnivorous eating insects and mites etc..

HABITAT :  A casual intruder, often entering buildings to seek shelter. Desiccation soon takes place inside buildings. Avoids daylight.
